We were impressed by the fact that this machine heats up quickly and that the spout could be adjusted to a suitable height.
The unit also comes with an easy-to-fill reservoir that can hold up to 34 ounces. It comes with a built in indicator for level that lets you know when to refill. It's removable and can be used when you need to clean the tank, or if you don't have a sink close by. This model also has a removable drip pan that allows you to use taller cup sizes underneath the spout.
In our steaming measurements, the Stilosa also fell short. This resulted from its lack of control of the temperature of steam and the lack of pre-infusion functions. Both of these are standard features in machines that cost more. Despite these shortcomings we did like the fact that it doesn't require much maintenance and is backed by a one-year guarantee. The De'Longhi Stilosa is a great addition to a home coffee bar. It's a little easier to use than the other models we've tested, and will reduce the cost of the cost of cafe drinks.

I'm not a big fan of coffee shortcuts, fully-automatic machines, or pods. However, the Impress does exactly what it claims to do without being too intimidating or taking the joy out of making an espresso. I'm glad to give it a thumbs up for this!
